Dhallywood heart-throb Shakib Khan has been roped in to star opposite Kolkata star Subhashree Ganguly in an India-Bangladesh joint production venture.
From Bangladesh, Jazz Multimedia and Indian production house Eskay Movies have shook hands to produce this movie together.
Tollywood’s Raja Chanda, who has directed several India-Bangladesh joint ventured films has decided to make this yet-to-be-titled movie.
Reportedly, while Shakib Khan signed for the movie, Subhashree has given her verbal consent, although her casting in the movie has been finalized.
However, the owner of Jaaz Multimedia Abdul Aziz said, “Nothing has been finalized regarding the movie. You would be known when the time will come.”
Notably, Shakib has recently starred with another Tollywood actress Srabanti in super-hit film ‘Shikaari’ that got released on Eid al-Fitre. ‘Shikari’ is Shakib’s first film where he agreed to be involved in a film jointly produced by the neighboring countries.
