The DNC Wrap Up Exclusive Daily Show

Donald Trump said he thought about 'hitting' a number of speakers 'so hard' after they criticized
him at the Democrat convention.
Although he didn't name any names, he appeared to reserve particular fury for Michael
Bloomberg who called the Republican nominee a 'dangerous demagogue' and called on voters to elect Hilary Clinton - a 'sane, competent person'.Addressing a rally in Davenport Iowa, Trump said: 'I was going to hit one guy, in particular a very little guy. I was going to hit this guy so hard his head would spin. He wouldn’t know what the hell happened' - in a clear reference to the diminutive former New York City mayor. His surprise at Bloomberg's critical speech stemmed from the face the pair had once done business together. 'He came out of nowhere', Trump said. 'He made deals with me.
‘Will you help me with this? Would you make this deal and solve the problem?’ I solved the problem. I do a great job.'
Trump claims he was ultimately talked out of getting physical after receiving a call from a persuasive U.S. governor.
'What are you doing?' the governor said, in Trump's retelling, urging him to ignore 'all these people who want to get the spotlight for 5 minutes.' 'Don't hit down. You have one person to beat. Hillary Rodham Clinton. One person. Hillary
Clinton.'  The billionaire developer went on to refer to the Democratic National Convention as an exercise
in Pollyanna thinking and cast the party of Hillary Clinton as a home for clueless idealists who are uninterested in facing tough problems. 'I watched last night, and they're not talking about the real world, you know,' the Republican
presidential nominee told supporter. 'It was like all beautiful roses!' he huffed later.  What followed was a litany of omissions from the on-stage DNC program – all indications, Trump suggested, of a party that's unwilling to level with voters about the legacy of the Obama administration.  'They're not talking about radical Islamic terrorism! They're not talking about borders where people just pour across! They're not talking about the crime, the kind of crime that
we have in this nation!' Trump said, rattling off his list from memory. 'They're not talking about the fact that many people in this country are making less money today in terms of real wages than they were making 18 years ago. They're not talking
about that. They're not talking about the fact that our jobs are leaving our country, that our jobs are pouring into Mexico and other countries. They don't talk about that. 'They don't talk about all of the problems that we have in this country with education, where ... on a worldwide basis, we are ranked so poorly. And they're not talking about that. They just don't talk about it.'  'So I'm watching as everything is hunky-dory, everything is wonderful,' Trump sniped, recalling his time watching TV on Wednesday night as President Barack Obama passed the nation's politically liberal baton to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
